Hats 267 to 271: The eyelash yarn is back, plus Knit Pro interchangeables

Five hats strung on a cable needle, all with fuzzy brims

Christmas! Er. Maybe?

Five more hats for you, bringing me back up to date! I’m sleepy today, so I’ve been watching rubbish TV and catching up on the tiny hats. On the one hand, I am thoroughly enjoying the last leg of this tiny hat journey, and on the other, I’m going to be so glad when I can knit something else…

This post is also about those Knit Pro interchangeable metal needles.

Reasons why they are awesome:

  • Being able to mix and match different lengths of cables and tips saves you loads of monehz and (more importantly) valuable knitting time.
  • The cables are really good, and they’re a nice colour.
  • The tips are very pointy, and the metal surface is very slippery, which can be tricky to get used to but once you’ve got the knack you can knit much faster and with less splitting of the yarn.

So, you can buy them from Get Knitted! if you live in the UK from this page. They’re £40 but well worth it, especially if you hate seaming with a passion.

This eyelash yarn! I hate it, hate it SO MUCH… But it is perfect for the tiny hats, especially when not used ALL OVER.

Lovely itty bitty hats. The eyelash yarn works so well as a fur brim!

Thank you! It does, doesn’t it? It’s the only way I can think to use it, apart from stripes, which I think may make me want to pack it all in and become a sheep-shearer…
