This photo was taken on my phone, due to me being lazy. The yarns for the front three hats were hand-dyed by Hannah, whose shop is The Craft Hive on Coriandr. She is very very good! She doesn’t have any hand-dyed stuff in her shop right now, but she has many other beauteous and fascinating things.
The bottom left hat I just purled every fourth row, easy peasy. The bottom right is k3, p3, repeat for three rows. Then switch it round! Resulting in a chessboard pattern. The yellowy-green one is some nice variegated stuff that Hannah did with food colouring. And the one at the back is just an outrageously fuzzy, unnatural-in-every-way acrylic jobby that has no connection whatsoever with Hananh’s hippie credentials.
I am still way behind with the hats.
