I’m Lottie, I’m 23 and I live in South Wales. I started knitting back when I was a teen, and started to get a lot better when I got this CFS stuff and lost my job. I wanted to feel productive and creative, so I started to knit a lot for other people, and I challenged myself with more complicated patterns. These days, I mostly knit for myself, and special people who really appreciate the time and effort and skill.

I’m now pretty awesome when it comes to colourwork, cables and lace. I am, of course, very modest. I know I can improve a lot, but I am still proud of myself out of all proportion. I’ve designed a few patterns, but being able to cause a few pennies with yarn that would otherwise be thrown away feels to me like a contribution.

I pretty much survive in raw-hat-material supplies due to random acts of kindness from readers of this blog and knitters over at Ravelry.com. You lovely people keep me afloat!

My other hobbies include reading, cooking soup or risotto or sometimes both for people I love, and planting things to dig up later. One day I hope to have enough patterns for sale that I only need to work part time. Naturally, this involves me getting rid of the CFS, thus waking up in the morning feeling like I haven’t run a marathon the day before. Hey, a girl can dream. đŸ˜‰

Thank you for stopping by, it means a lot to me.
