Hat 11: Faster veg pot warmer

Observe the stripes on Hat 11

With the hope that I would be able to knit the veg pot warmer a bit faster this time, I included some go-faster stripes. However, I forgot to time my knitting.

Anyway, this one is the first thing I’ve ever made with k3p1 ribbing, very strange, considering how much I love 3×1 ribbing and how much knitting I’ve done. It’s that pink and dark blue Sirdar Denim Tweed, but you can’t tell because the lighting is funny and my webcam doesn’t adjust too well. I like it though. 🙂

You can get the pattern for the veg pot warmer, which they need lots more of, here.

Eek! I just heard from the Innocent Twitter Feed that they need special veg pot warmers!

Well, I had no idea, so I thought I’d knit one. I chose to do it on circulars using that yummy Sirdar Denim Tweed DK in pink that I used yesterday. For some reason, maybe the super-soft yarn and the super-slippery needles, I found it quite fiddly and taxing. But anyway, I did it!

Here is the blog post in question, and here is the link to the PDF pattern download.
